Rainy Days and Mondays

Dear Most Awesome Blog Readers,

This will be really quick. I woke up hung-over on my birthday to find that when the cable company shut-off my land line, they also stopped my internet. Awesome. Then they told me that what took a minute for them to screw up, would take them at least 24 hours to fix. Even better. So, I had to wait until I went back to work to get any internet access.

Thanks for all the kind birthday wishes and virtual cakes and stuff. I promise I will try to get to everyone's blogs in the next day or two. 'Kay? I also promise to write a better, more sober blog post than I have in the last couple of days.

Love,

Churlita

Hey, sorry for being a lame ass and not getting over here earlier to wish you a happy birthday! Hope you get your cable sorted out soon. I can live without TV but no Web access makes me convulse.

What a thoughtful birthday gift from the cable company.

I have a hate on for cable companies that do shite like that.. it's mind blowing that what takes 30 seconds to do and 24 hrs to fix.. what a bunch of losers.. Look forward to a sober post.. But I love the drunk ones too...

Happy birthday, to you.
Happy birthday, to you.
Happy birthday, Churlita.
And I know it's late, too.

What's even more frustrating about the cable thing is that it probably only takes some dude at the office to check a box on a computer screen and press "Enter" to fix it.

as for the sober posting...I got worried there for a moment. Thought you were going to be "serious" Happy Back-to-Work day!

Ugh, that's annoying. Hope it's back up.

Hey I kind of liked the drunken blogs, and the fact that you get to have the hangover and save me the pain -

Your drunken blog posts still out rank a lot of other people's sober posts. Happy new year of life!

internet access is good. I can relate because for the past month I have had none and must wait to go to work before I can check my email, etc. Oh the inconvenience of it all!

It amazes me how screw ups take a second and cures take days....

Understood dear....we will see you when your cable company gets it's collective shit together.

They make me crazy too.

Thanks.

AKS,

I'm glad I can be of service.

Evil-E,

Amazing and annoying.

Margaret,

Yeah. That's what I've heard anyway.
