Between the Noise You Hear and the Sound You Like

Here is an old pic. I'm at the jukebox, picking out songs, which is one of my favorite things to do.

Well, kids. This will be a short and boring post. I didn't do a lot today but ride my bike, run and drive Stinky around to her assorted events. It was a fine day, just boring. I like boring, but it doesn't make for a very good blog post.

One good thing...A while back a friend of mine gave me a DVD of like 700 songs of new music. At the time, my home computer couldn't play it, so I tried to listen to it at work, but I could never have it loud enough to really hear the songs very well. I was able to download it into my new computer and I can't tell you how nice it is to have so much new music. It makes cleaning and reading and putzing around the house a million times better.

Gotta love mixed CDs with lots of songs. I'm so glad you can play them on your new computer! I was able to transfer the songs I had on my MP3 to my new computer, and it just plays so well. I thought I'd need speakers, but I don't!

This is really true: my word v. is hymnapan.

So, a weird little question. It sounds like you launch into OTHER people's music without hesitation. Is that true/so?

I actually tense up when someone enthuses big 'Listen to this, you'll love it' because I don't want to have to love shit. Know what I mean?

Most of my days are boring enough not to be blogworthy, but I don't mind...and I bet you don't either :-) There is lots to be said for routine.
Congrats on the new music! I love it when people give me stuff they enjoy or that they think I'd enjoy.

Any day when drama does not happen is a wonderful day!

I think that music goes with everything and the more you are exposed to, the better. I enjoy getting music that I have not heard before. I might not like all of it but I usually find things that I do like very much.

I miss the old jukeboxes! One of my dreams is to be able to buy one and put some of the 500 or so singles I have in it.

In the meantime, I put my Itunes on shuffle. I'm up to about 5,200 songs on it.

Ha! I just posted about music too.

We just had to ban iPods in the shop here at work, but I still get to listen to mine at my computer! Makes the day go by faster, fer sher!
