Another Delay. Too Many Hassles

Here are some icy berries on a tree.

Today was day number 533 of my busy craziness - or at least, that's what it felt like. I drove on icy roads. Icy roads with drifting snow. Snow that swirled, seemed more like steam, and made the highway look like it was paved in dry ice. Then I spent time with my siblings and then drove on more icy roads. Finally, I made it home and met K. at the Dublin for a beer.

Tomorrow there will probably more driving and more family. Then hopefully, on Christmas day, I can rest. Happy holidays, kids.

Just be careful...the world is far more interesting with you on it.

Enjoy the holiday, enjoy the time with the family.

The dry ice is a very apt description. Well done. That shit was scary.

Safe travels and happy holidays, Churlita.

The berries are beautiful, the snow sounds so beautiful. I'm sure your white knuckles from driving and seeing the family are beautiful too... Merry Days

Are there lessons on how to drive on ice? I once got stuck on a single patch of ice that was no longer than 3 feet. It was a water leak on a road one Christmas Eve. That's it. No other ice to be found. It took a wench to pull my car off the patch. Would I survive north of the Mason-Dixon?

Be careful on those icy roads. I hope your migraine went away and that you were able to enjoy spending time with family!

I was very glad I didn't really have to drive anywhere on Saturday or Sunday...well, except to the grocery store and church...but not miles and miles to family.

Glad you made there and back safely!
