Hey, kids. Guess what? I still have tons of photos leftover from Halloween, so I'm going to put more on here. I promise tomorrow I'll go back to posting photos of other stupid stuff, but tonight we're still reliving Halloween through pictures.
What made me decide to post more, was that I went through them to post them on Snapfish, and realized that one of the most frightening one of all - this one of the creepy mimes, wasn't even in my post. So, here are the rest of the ones I thought you might like to see.
Here are the shoes my girlcrush made for her Munchkin costume. How cute are they?
After how much fun I had on Friday, I decided to make Saturday a nice relaxing day for me and the girls. I ran, I cleaned a little, but mostly, I just lounged around my house.
I was going to hang out and have a stay at home date with myself on Saturday night, but then Stinky called me and asked if she and one of her friends could come over and watch movies. They're supposed to be at their dad's house, but he doesn't let them have friends over, and it wasn't like I was doing anything crazy anyway, so I said sure.
Here is Inspector Gadget with a PBR tallboy. He sure put his costume to good use.
The girls wanted to go in my room, so they could watch movies and play video games and because even after a year, my new bed is the most comfortable thing in the world. I stayed in the living room and watched my movies and brought the girls cheesy garlic bread and juice. It was a really nice mellow night. And boy howdy, did I need that.
Here is Marge Simpson. I have no idea what her hair was made of.
I went to bed before midnight, and with the time change I think I must have gotten exactly 4,236 hours of sleep. The crazy thing is, I'm still tired.
It would have been a great day to go to Kalona and take photos, but I had so many things to do. I had to make sure Stinky got her church youth group cookout thingy, and that Coadster got to her show choir workshop and had to make a couple dozen frosted sugar cookies for Coadster to take to that workshop. There was also running, laundry, grocery shopping and cleaning tacked on to that. You know what? I guess its not all that surprising that I'm still tired, now that I think about it. Instead of Kalona, I went over by Kinnick Stadium and took photos of the train tracks, the stadium and other weird things.
This girl came over and started feeling me up. I told her that she at least owed me a photo after that. So, she and her boyfriend posed for me. I told them they looked so Thornbirds but they were too young to get the reference.
I still haven't voted yet. If nothing else, I'll go to City High on Tuesday and stand in line for however many hours it takes to put in my two cents, or whatever the poll tax is now. Just think, on Wednesday, we'll get a little break from political ads for a while. God, I can't wait.
On a more G-rated note. Here is Red Green. See the duct tape hanging off of his belt?
I was reminded that I need to pick someone to choose the next Saturday Scavenger Hunt word. I think I'll choose Tara, at Eclectic Spaghetti.
I don't want any of my women readers to feel to bad about themselves, but these lovely ladies could put us all too shame. The one with the wild hair, was at least 6'5", so s/he looked even better standing up. I thought about telling them they looked so Bosom Buddies, but I doubt they were old enough to get that reference either.
Okay, I'm finally coming to the close of my weak end and its amazing weather for the beginning of November. I'm just burning another mix CD I made for a co-worker. She likes all that swank, Rat Packy, croonery music. So, I made her a mix of some of those kinds of songs. I'll try to post the playlist for that tomorrow. Some of you may be familiar with it, and some of you probably won't. For those of you who don't know it, you'll have to go back in time and go to cocktail parties. Or you could just watch the movie Swingers instead.
Here is an Uncle Samantha.
I hope you all had a nice weekend and are ready for the work week and if you haven't already, vote, god damn it.
Check out this Viking chick's huge fake boobs. They were hilarious, because they weren't even pretending to look real.

Which is scarier, clowns or mimes? I'm not sure but at least you can hear the clowns coming...
Not a big fan of Mimes.. But they are all great costumes.. Thanks for sharing..
Churlita,
What's with the female fear of mimes and clowns? My daughter's friend freaks out even if it's a clown doll. It seems quite a common thingy with the girls at work to.
Glad you had a rechargish weekend!
I'll vote in the morning instead of blogging.

I'm very impressed with all the costumes. I've never been good with ideas for that. Hilarious in an 'i'm sorry' sort of way that none of the people would get your references.
Those elf shoes are awesome! Every munchkin should wear a pair.
I like the Marge Simpson, costume too!
I would keep posting Halloween pictures too, if I had as many great costumes captured as you do.
Sounds like a successful weekend all around.
Love the boobie bowls of the last one.
I wonder who did the make up of the bosom buddies. Their color looks a little off!
Mr Atrocity,
I think they are equally scary.
Mrs,
There were some really cool costumes this year.
Rel,
I know some guys who are afraid of clowns and mimes too. Maybe it's all that creepy make-up.
Nor,
It's okay. It's hell being this old in a college town.
Tara,
I know. People were so much more creative with their costumes than I was, that's for sure.
Laura,
It was very close to a perfect weekend for me...Now, if only I could have won the lotto it would have been even better.
Cricket,
My guess is that they did.
I wonder if the Viking chick actually used bowls for her fake boobs?
Oh my gosh. Aside from stuff of elementary school age kids and younger, I havent done an adult halloween in YEARS. These costumes are a riot!
