You Know We'll Have a Good Time Then

Here's my friend C. all painted up at the Steelers game.

And here's my friend K. looking super darn cute, if you ask me.

So, tonight some of my friends are in St Louis staying at Mr. St Louis' house and watching the Steelers/Rams game in person. I have to say, I'm a little sad to miss it all. I had to work and I have the girls, so there was no way I could go. Mr. St Louis was great about sending me photos and videos of the game. So, I didn't feel totally left out. My friend James joked about sending me a picture of him lying on Mr. St Louis' bed. How mean is that? Yeah, but it's funny, so it's okay.

The good thing is, that I only work a half day tomorrow. Originally, I was going to take the girls out for lunch and a movie and do some shopping, but Coadster has to DJ Friday night in the Quad Cities, so it will just be Stinky and me. Yeah, I know. It's time for another round of "Cat's in the Cradle". Hopefully, I'll have a few more days until they leave for Madison with my brother. And then while they're gone. Mr. St Louis will come up to visit next week about this time. There are so many things to do before that, and I've been bad about putting it all off. I'm sure tomorrow I'll feel like getting two weeks worth of shit done. Don't you think?

I got to break in the new cable last night and actually watched the game at home on NFL Network. This game would have been only a myth had the new cable not been installed. Apparently your friends were not alone as Steeler fans, the crowd was almost pro-Steeler.

Maybe the mojo moved in my direction, since yours has been concentrated on other (more important) fronts?

Two weeks worth of shit? One day? Hmmm, it can be done BUT only if you have a playlist with the proper motivational music. I'm thinking The A-Team theme, Mission Impossible theme, Eye of the Tiger and so on. With that anything is possible.

Churlita,
Are they still playing football?

Maybe the excitement of a pending visit will inspire you to get busy with the two weeks worth of stuff? Do you put the eye makeup on like your friend K when you support the Steelers? That's pretty cool.

Who invented delayed gratification and is it really - really? - supposed to be better? Well, you've got to take your proud moments where you get them, I guess.

I predict that you will get all you need to get done and more! Now, got get 'em Tiger! (Sometimes that stuff works, right?)

As a queen of procrastination, I am telling you that it can be done. You just need to not sleep, that's all :)

Aw, I miss the smell of a football field!

Evil-E,

Hey, as long as someone has that mojo, I'm good.

Mr Atrocity,

Don't be too scared, but I do have some TV theme show CD's that have all that music on them.

Rel,

Yes sir.

Tara,

That visit is tremendous motivation.

Booda Baby,

I'm not sure? There is something kind of sweet about it though.

LauraB.,

Thanks for the motivational speech, coach.

Emma,

You're totally right.

Margaret,

I know. It's almost tangible now.
