It's Too Late, Baby

Okay, kids. Let me just put it to you straight. This post is guaranteed to be lame. As my friend S. said about herself in an email to me, "I put the ME in lame". Ad that's exactly what I did tonight. Yes, I had fun, but I got drunk and now it's late and I'm dumb.

I met my friends, K. and T at the Dublin along with the person formally known as Mr Dateman, but who renamed himself, FMBF (for former boyfriend- or was it FMDM for former Dateman). We had a great time and there were tons of people I knew there. T., who is always my favorite shit stirrer, had fun messing with FMBF's slight (ahem) OCD. He left the table to help K. pick out songs at the juke box, and while he was gone, T. took all the coasters he had lined up all tidy next to each other around his beer and put them all in a messy pile instead. Of course, the first thing he did when he sat back down, was pick them up and start to staighten them again. I told him what T. did and FMBF appreciated T.'s awesomeness right along with me.

I have some photos from tonight that I don't have time to put up, but if you're all real good, I may try to get them up this weekend. Now, it's time for me to go to bed. Erik is coming up this weekend, and I want to be as fresh as a daisy when he gets here tomorrow. I think at this point, it might be a bit impossible, but at least I'll try to be as perky as I can.

Night. Night.

Yes. Get some sleep. No reading blog posts at 4 am like I am.

Do I have to be real good? Can't you just put the photos up anyway? Please.

Get some sleep, restore your daisy freshness, and get perky for your dude.

I love that your friend messed with FMBF's coasters. I think that's what I would've done too. The past few Christmases, I've been messing with my mom. She's not OCD but she likes to set up a tea party table for a Christmas setting with a bowl or plate of animal crackers. When she's not in the same room, I have taken a bite of one of the cookies and left it in the bowl for her to notice later after I have gone back home.

Have a good weekend! :)

My brother is pretty OCD - his car is immaculate always. One time driving with him, to mess with his head I roll up my aluminum foil from my sandwich (making sure it was clean), and threw it in the back seat. If he wasn't driving, he would have dove to try and catch it before it fell.

It gives me massive satisfaction that I can use my "open plan filing system" to profoundly upset all the the very autistic, orderliness-obsessed geeks I work with.

Hope you got all the sleep you needed.

Nice...screwing with the OCD. I'm assuming that he is not coming to visit this weekend or I would do the same.

Any post that teaches me 'the me in lame' counts as a good one.

Ha! Classic! That is exactly what I do when I'm at my friend MA's house --- I put the things on her tables at an angle, or put one book so it's leaning against all the other straight ones, etc. Drives her crazy(er). Hee hee.
