Well I'd a Danced Like the Queen of the Eyesores

I think I'll do the Saturday Scavenger Hunt on Sunday again this week. The word this week is old. I suppose I could just post a pic of myself, but instead I'll post a dance party photo or two. I'm sure by now, these dance party pics are getting a little old. I'm not going to lie and tell you I'll never post another one, but maybe next time I do, it will be from a different location. Instead of the Dublin, we might get some shots of the state pool tournament in the Quad Cities in a couple of weeks. I don't play pool myself, but I'm all for being a mascot, or a cheerleader or whatever the hell I'm going to be for the Dublin Girl's pool team.

You might think it would get old ripping open the shirt of a guy who continually wears a snap shirt and forgets to put on an undershirt, but trust me, it's never not funny.

The theme this weekend, and probably every weekend, is how wonderful my friends are. They never get old. Especially when they call me on a Sunday morning and tell me to come over because they're making breakfast and nursing hangovers and talking girl talk and reading Cosmo aloud to each other on our friend's deck.

And food. Food never gets old - particularly when that food is bacon and cheesy eggs and hashbrowns and biscuits AND cinnamon rolls and fruit pizza....

I vote for cheerleader instead of mascot. The outfit would be way better....

You used the old standby for the scavenger hunt and there's nothing wrong with that. Old friends, the old place, and the old usuals never really get old.

that looks like a yummy/messy breakfast

That guy looks like he just accepts his shirt being ripped open. Like, "Oh well!" Hehe.

You're right, food never gets old...or at least enjoying food never gets old. Especially tasty breakfast food.

That party could have used some Bacon Salt! funny that I don't eat bacon, yet our house smells like it!

Friends make it all OK don't they?

Oh, friends and huge breakfasts. They help too.

Oh, you worked that old really well, covering all the pretty damned true stuff. Well done!

I think that guy wears that shirt on purpose. I know I would.

Of course he wants his shirt ripped open. Hence no undershirt, and always wearing them...

I love that you and your friends rip open the snap shirts! I do that too, but best is my friend S. who does in in one unpredictably swift chopping motion - scares 'em every time!

Evil-E,

I'm good at sticking with the old stand-by.

RM,

It was.

Tara,

He loves every second of it. I'm sure that's why he "forgets" to wear his undershirt.

DJ,

We had so much bacon, we didn't need the salt.

Mr Atrocity,

Friends and big breakfasts make everything seem perfect.

Booda Baby,

Thanks.

Gyuss,

Oh yeah. Just think of all the attention you could get if you wore a shirt like that?

Nor,

Boys are so easy to figure out, aren't they?

Poptart,

Will you show me the chopping motion when I come visit you in Chicago?

Laura,

I agree on both counts.

Mrs.,

We'll see about the cheerleader thing...
