I Like Your Stories, I Love Your Gun

So, the show was lots of fun last night. There were all kinds of older people in the pit and nobody broke a hip or lost their dentures or anything. Although, I did lose my phone for a very scary hour or so until I found where it was.

Not everyone could be there, so one of our friends blew-up a picture of another of our friends and glued it to a stick so we could take him around with us and abuse him all night.

Some people came in from out of town and were apparently extremely excited about being there.

Then there were people who live in town, but I never, ever see them, so then I was apparently excited that they were there.

This is my good friend B. We used to go to shows like these all the time back in the day. Now, it's very rare when we're able to hang out and see music together.

Toward the end of the night, everyone was comfortable enough to start stripping down and showing off their goodies. Woooooo hoooo!

After the rocking, we all got to spend time reconnecting. It was great to see what everyone was up to this many years later. I'm amazed at how respectable most of these guys turned out.

Except for the part where there was no alcohol allowed on the church premises.

I've not heard of a cardboard-cutout party. After that image, I looked for telltale flatness and cutout lines in other party-goers :)

Happy Easter!

Dmarks,

I know. It's hard to tell who's real and who's not, huh?

REl,

Thanks.

Evil-E,

I did. It was a great weekend.

Wow. That's a lot of action for a non-alcohol shindig. Shirtlessness and out of town whoopers. Must have been a hell, I mean heck of a show.

That one guy has a hand down his pants, doesn't he?

I love that your friend went through the crafty work of gluing a friend's photo to a stick. Not many people would think to do that, and it's hilarious to think that you could all take him around and do whatever to him. ;)

lady,

We were allowed to swear, but just not drink. It was at the Unitarian church and they wanted to keep it mellow.

Tara,

I make a conscious effort not to look where boys put their hands. But now that you mention it, I think he does.

Laura B.,

We all were. thanks.

Wow. We really missed out. I am so bummed. Glad you had a great time - looks like it was worth every bit of the hangover.
