Here is Stinky and her friend on New Year's Eve. Mr. St Louis taught them how to make sushi while I was at work. Mr. St Louis is a saint.
My internet has been down for almost a week now, and I haven't died yet. A couple times I felt like I might, but then I soldiered on. I'm not sure how much longer it will be, but the cable people are supposed to come out on Friday and check it out. According to my router software, the issue is with the modem. I'm going to switch that out today with a new one as soon as I get off work, but if that doesn't work, I might be jonesing until the weekend.
Here's a picture Mr. St Louis took of me at the Bears game with my camera phone.
Mr. St Louis is still here. He was originally going to leave on New Year's Day, but now he's going to stay and caucus on Thursday night and so we get to stretch our first date out even longer. Yippeeee! Maybe I can talk him into staying until the elections next November...
We also talked about my blog a little bit during our Chicago trip. He doesn't exactly understand the whole blogging thing. He's read mine before. He found it a couple of months ago when we were still just friends. But Mr. St, Louis said he had no problem with me using his real name and showing photos of him. Sooooooooo:
Here's Erik at the Bears game wearing his Saints gear.
I'll try to write about New Year's Eve and about our Chicago date here in the near future. I'm kind of waiting on some photos my co-worker took at the Dublin Underground before I got too drunk and scary looking.

The modem I had from my cable company died on me earlier this year, and that was the main thing that was causing problems. So I got it switched with a working one and I could connect to the internet. Good luck to you!
Sounds like you're having an awesome first date so far! And he taught your daughters how to make sushi? That's great!! Happy New Year, by the way!
awesome photos!
have a great 2008!
I am so glad you are happy and having fun. You deserve it. 2008 seems like your year!
Way cool! Glad everything went well.
As for not understanding blogging, my dmarks ID is much much older than my blog (from an earlier aborted attempt). I've left the wreckage of a couple of blogs in my wake as well. It took me a while to understand it also.
He's staying to caucus? How cool is that?
I know, I'm the geekiest politics junkie who ever lived.
Happy New Year, C!
Glad you got to go to that game instead of the Frozen Wind Bowl against Green Bay the week before. And to think you will be able to say, I saw Kyle Orton's neckbeard in person!
oooh. a hottie to caucus, huh? very nice.
AND can make sushi. very very nice.
so tell me again how he can blow off work for the rest of the week? Independently wealthy and able to keep you in the style to which you'd like to become accustomed?
Ooooh, he's a keeper for the caucus ALONE, but he's got a winning smile even if his team lost as it should and he ALSO seems to appreciate your wonderfulness. He's got some good ingredients.
Churlita,
Well, he seems like a pretty stand up guy.
Ya did good girl, ;)
rel
Staying extra days? I love him for that. Oh, and I like his name. I am sooooo glad this is working out for you. I am rambling in comments in his honor. I don't do that for many people.
do the girls LIKE sushi???!! Wow! He sounds great and I love the photos...you've got a good camera phone! He looks charming!
He gets my approval automatically, how can anyone named Erik (c) be a bad person. I ain't biased or anything.
Hey Manuel tagged you for the scavenger hunt.
Good luck with the computer thing- but maybe it's best for your lovelife if you aren't attached to us you can, uh... be doing OTHER things....
Happy happy joy joy indeed.
Dang, you have a quality camera phone.
